Guidelines & Policies

Ambience
Help us maintain a tranquil atmosphere in the studio. Please turn off cell phones when entering the studio and make any necessary calls outside before or after class.

Apparel
Wear what is comfortable and allows you to move and stretch freely. Breathable fabrics are highly recommended, as classes will make you sweat. Please bring a small towel. You will find what works best for you over time. Yoga is done in bare feet.

Children
Child care is not provided. Please make child care arrangements prior to coming to class. Children are not allowed to be left unattended in the lobby or practice space. Yoga can be a wonderful experience for children. If your child has an interest in yoga, please stay tuned for Kids yoga classes coming to the studio soon. Check schedule for updates, or send us email and request to be notified when dates are scheduled!

Class passes & unlimited memberships
All prices include sales tax. Intro offers are good for first-time members only. All fees, memberships, and class passes are nonrefundable and nontransferable. Only 6-Month and Annual Memberships may be frozen IN ADVANCE in one-month increments for a $10 fee.

Equipment
It is recommended that you bring your own yoga mat & towel(s). Mats are available for rental at the front desk for $1/ea. Blankets, blocks & straps are available for your convenience during class. Please return what you use to the prop area after your class in an orderly fashion. We do not provide towels. Please do not use our blankets to wipe sweat from the floor or your body.

Event Cancellation/Date Change Policy
We reserve the right to cancel or change the date of any class, workshop, or retreat. We will do our best to notify participants in a timely manner if this occurs.

Hygiene
Please observe basic hygiene when attending yoga class. Refrain from wearing heavy perfume, fragrance or cologne to class.

Mindfulness
Always practice within your own limits. Try to cultivate Ahimsa, or non-violence, towards yourself in action and judgment. The body is different every day, so approaching your practice through ego may result in undue frustration and injury. If you must leave early, do a short 3 to 5 minutes of savasana and then leave the studio very quietly.

New to the studio
Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to class. This gives you the opportunity to sign in, fill out paperwork & discuss any injuries or concerns with teacher prior to class.

Preparation for Class
Remove your shoes upon entering the studio as a way of showing respect and to provide a clean environment in which to practice. Inform your teacher about any injuries or if you are pregnant before class begins. This is the only way for the teacher to know how to help you and give modifications if necessary.

Retail Returns
If you are purchasing a Manduka Mat or Yogitoes Skidless Towel, please ask us for a demo so that you may try it out in class before buying one. No returns on mats or towels.

Sign-In & Payment
Please sign in before entering class. In addition, please be timely in renewing a class series if it has run out.
